The treasure chest
On her blog La Malle aux Trésors, Céline delights us about her little moments of life and her big projects. Today, invited on My Little Room, she presents the bedroom of Fantine and Ella.
Can you introduce us to your little family?
I’m Celine, I’m thirty, I’m married to Simon, 33, a graphic designer by trade, but also a great handyman. We are the parents of two playful and lively little girls Fantine 5 years old and Ella 2 years old.
What were your inspiration and your desires for Fantine and Ella’s bedroom?
I did not have inspiration but desires and constraints too. As we brought them together in the same room to free up a room that would serve as a playroom, I wanted the room to be a place of calm and rest, I wanted it to be cozy and colorful, for the light to be soft . I had to compose with the furniture that we had found and the decoration that we already had.
What is the furniture or object you prefer in his room?
The library I think. A 1970s red plastic bookcase that my husband found while still a student and that we have since taken from apartment to apartment.
Do you still want to change something? If yes, what?
I always want to change something, with us everything is always in motion. I move objects from one room to another, I remove them to find them another place.
